The economic dimension of international students' volunteering – Opportunities for Central Europe

Abstract There is a growing body of literature that recognizes the importance volunteering. The economic impact volunteering has been studied in previous decades, but scientists have not examined international students' volunteer activities fully. Therefore, current paper aims to identify potential ingoing Erasmus students Visegrad 4 countries (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia). study uses quantitative method investigate for volunteering, which estimated by using two hypothetical situations. First, 90% shall h per month their stay. Second, only 10% month. Replacement median wages were used quantify value This represented an interval estimate with upper and lower bound.
